Postcard from the Past

The other day I went to visit my parents and whilst reading entries in our guest book (fancy, eh?) I found a beautiful postcard of Edgar Degas’ Petite Danseuse de 14 ans, a sculpture I love. I decided to take it home, however, once I flipped the card over I noticed that the card was addressed to my mom’s best friend Gill in Canada but my mom had never sent it off! It had been written a year and a half ago when my mom came to visit me in Paris and we went to the Musée d’Orsay, her and Gill’s favourite museum.

Naturally I bought a stamp and mailed it. I am curious to hear about Gill’s reaction!!
